This comprehensive process uses online and off line research tools and techniques to understand consumer habits and motivations, and to evaluate the competition.
We use historical data such as demographics and various media sources to build a strategic calendar of advertising activity that includes recommended time segments that divide radio or TV day for ad scheduling purposes, using periods of media activity interspersed with periods of inactivity and advertiser target market levels. At BPM we believe there is a true science to evaluating and planning the most efficient media campaigns for our clients. Our attention to our clients’ bottom line leads to ongoing optimization of the overall media plan and continued sales growth for our clients.
Media BuyingOnce BIG Picture Media has developed a media campaign founded on the client’s sales objectives, the plan is put into action. Based on market conditions and clients goals we determine how to purchase the most efficient media buy for our clients.
Our buys use a combination of tactics that include: (1) purchasing advertising for the coming broadcast year in an early buying season, (2) purchasing media as needed (usually on a quarterly basis) as opposed to participating in a structured upfront media buy and (3) purchasing unsold inventory at the last minute at a significantly reduced cost. After constructing and negotiating our client's media plan, we carefully measure and optimize the buy using performance data to quantify current media effectiveness and provide straightforward insight into how our clients can significantly improve their CPA.
