BIG Picture Magazine's principals own and operate a small Media and Graphic Design company and were looking for an inexpensive way of producing and distributing publications to readers, some of whom live out of the country. Facing rising postage and print costs, and unable to afford the digital providers already in the market, the BIG Picture Magazine digital publishing system was conceived, developed, and publicly launched in November of 2008.
